New Club Resource: Comprehensive Practices in Club Cybersecurity

The National Club Association (NCA) and Hospitality Financial and Technical Professionals (HFTP®) have partnered to develop a resource designed to provide members with a detailed guide on data and network security.

Comprehensive Practices in Club Cybersecurity” has been structured so that clubs can implement practical recommendations from the different sections to improve their overall cybersecurity health, manage data according to the latest regulations, and incorporate new technology tools to prevent, detect and respond to potential cyber incidents and breaches.

“As the number of cyberattacks continue to rise and threaten businesses and institutions nationwide, the importance of having a strong and proactive cybersecurity strategy has never been greater,” said Henry Wallmeyer, president and CEO of NCA. “The guidance in this publication provides the foundation to an effective club cybersecurity program to protect clubs from online threats.”

NCA and HFTP are allied associations, partnering on projects that are mutually beneficial to the club industry. This publication drew from the expertise of members from NCA and HFTP to develop the content.

NCA members can access the Comprehensive Practices in Club Cybersecurity publication here.

In addition, NCA will offer a three-part webcast series to supplement the information detailed in the report. Members can register for the free series here.
