NCA Announces Henry Wallmeyer Stepping Down as President & CEO After 6.5 Successful Years

On behalf of the entire National Club Association Board of Directors, I’m writing to you, a valued member of NCA, with mixed emotions.

Henry Wallmeyer, who has served the National Club Association for the past 6.5 years, will step down as President & CEO of the organization effective June 7, 2022. He has accepted the role of President and Chief Operating Officer of ClubWorks, a newly formed professional services platform dedicated to the private club and high-end hospitality industry.

Henry was hired during a critical point for NCA and he immediately set a path and vision for the organization, focusing on growth, presence, programs and advocacy.

His achievements are numerous and we are very grateful for the impact he has had on the National Club Association and the overall private club industry, especially during the pandemic as his steady hand helped navigate the turbulent waters we all faced.

I am confident you would agree, Henry has served NCA members impressively and we will always be grateful for his passion, commitment, resolve and determination. These are unique qualities that shaped NCA, and they will be missed.

Please join us in thanking Henry for the years he has given to NCA. We wish him and his family continued success in their new and exciting chapter.

Looking forward, the business of NCA must continue and we will work tirelessly to serve you, a valued member. The first step in finding new leadership will be the formation of a search committee to identify search firm partners as we seek candidates for NCA’s next Chief Executive Officer.

We expect the search committee to be in place very shortly and the process of filling this vacancy to begin immediately. We are grateful to Henry for staying engaged the next two months and appreciate his involvement and guidance in securing the next leader of this organization.

Please know we look forward to seeing you in Charleston, May 15-17, for the National Club Conference, where we will have the opportunity to celebrate Henry in person, unveil the new NCA Strategic Plan and gather as an association to continue the positive trajectory of our organization that is a direct result of Henry, his leadership and the entire NCA team.

With continued thanks for being a member of the National Club Association and the club community,

Michael Bruni
Chair, National Club Association
