Club Updates – March 9
COVID-19 restrictions have eased alongside the number of new coronavirus cases and deaths dropping. One model estimates at least 73% of Americans are currently immune to omicron. This figure could rise to 80% by mid-March, reports the Associated Press, giving hope that even if cases spike again this summer, that hospitalizations and deaths will not.
