NCA Monthly: March

NCA Monthly

NCA is full steam ahead for the 2024 National Club Conference (NCC), April 28-30 at the new Omni PGA Frisco Resort, Texas. From our legendary Chair’s Reception (now included for all attendees) and the Excellence in Club Management® Awards Dinner & Gala, to night golf, a putting competition, genuine Texas BBQ, a hands-on tour and demos at Middleby Innovation Kitchens, and a special get-to-know-you welcome reception for NCA’s newest members (plus world-renowned speakers on the economy, the state of the club industry, club leadership, governance and so much more), the 20th National Club Conference is like nothing else—it’s our 20th NCC!—and limited seats remain. Special reduced room rates at the Omni PGA Frisco Resort expire April 10—book your room here. Register here to guarantee your spot and we’ll see you in Frisco!

We loved catching up with so many members and friends at the CMAA World Conference & Club Business Expo in Las Vegas, especially at our annual member appreciation lunch. President & CEO Joe Trauger updated attendees on all things NCA, including government relations and regulatory issues and upcoming NCA events.

Joe and NCA Communications Director Phil Mike spoke at the Washington, D.C. chapter of the Hospitality Financial and Technical Professionals (HFTP) meeting on March 21 to share a critical legislative and regulatory update and an overview of NCA’s D&I Committee.

The association was happy to announce in March the renewal of its executive partnership with KOPPLIN KUEBLER & WALLACE for the seventh consecutive year.

NCA issued a member alert on the final “walkaround” OSHA inspection rule and continues monitoring it, along with other legislative and regulatory issues affecting private clubs. Last month, we shared club-specific regulatory and legislative news in the Washington Weekly Update: March 4; March 11; and March 18.

It’s not too late to join us in Frisco, Texas, for this year’s National Club Conference, April 28-30! Get all the details and register here.

NCA’s robust schedule of webcasts continued in March; members can access full recordings at nationalclub.org or on the NCA app, available on the Apple Store and Google Play Store:

More webcasts are planned in the coming weeks—as always, they’re included in your NCA membership. Visit nationalclub.org for the latest schedule.
