National Golf Day May 8-10
National Golf Day will take place May 8-10 on Capitol Hill, allowing golf leaders to share their concern and support on critical issues facing the game, such as:

The PHIT Act – Allows individuals and couples with health savings accounts to use funds toward fitness-related activity and equipment. The funds could also be used to offset the cost of organized fitness or sporting activity for their children.

2023 Farm Bill – Authorizes funding for the National Turfgrass Research Initiative that addresses key concerns for the industry.

H-2B Visas – This program provides valuable and much needed staffing for clubs. Its expansion beyond the annual 66,000 cap is crucial for the industry’s success.

Modernizing the U.S. Tax Code – Updating the tax code to include the golf industry to receive various forms of disaster relief and economic stimulus.
