Chicago Yacht Club Commodore Lisa Curcio Gaston to Speak at National Club Conference, May 7-9 in Chicago

Curcio Gaston is the first female Commodore in the club’s 148-year history

The National Club Association, representing private clubs throughout the U.S., today announced Lisa Curcio Gaston, recently named Commodore of the storied Chicago Yacht Club (CYC), will speak at its 2023 National Club Conference, May 7-9 in Chicago.

Curcio Gaston, a retired judge in the Circuit Court of Cook County and respected professional mediator, first joined CYC in 1997 and has served on the board of directors, holding the offices of secretary and vice commodore. She has served on many committees including Long Range Planning, the committee that plans the annual Race to Mackinac, and as chair of the Power Fleet Committee. She will speak on her roles as Commodore and a Board member of the club.

Hosted by the National Club Association at the Union League Club of Chicago, the Conference is the definitive national forum for private club presidents, board members, general managers/CEOs and executives, showcasing prominent thought leaders and solutions providers with extraordinary networking and recreational events.
