COVID-19 restrictions have eased alongside the number of new coronavirus cases and deaths dropping. One model eCOVID-19 infection rates continue to fall as new variants BA.2 Omicron and Deltacron emerge. About At least 95% of Americans ages 16 and older have developed identifiable COVID-19 antibodies, reports the CDC. Additionally, while Omicron BA.2 makes up a third of all U.S. cases, overall rates of infection continue to decline and are not expected to cause a “national wave,” says Former FDA Commissioner Scott Gottlieb.
