2021-2022 Top 20 Ranked Golf Clubs and Country Clubs in America Announced

The top clubs in the U.S. boast excellence in amenities and facilities, exceptional staff and professional level services, governance and prudent fiscal management, adapting to changing times, quality of membership and more. The top three golf clubs in America as ranked by the Platinum Clubs of America are: Augusta National Golf Club in Ga., Baltusrol Golf Club in N.J., and Pine Valley Golf Club in N.J. The top three country clubs in America are: Congressional Country Club in Md., Ocean Reef Club in Fla., and The Vintage Club in Calif. Forbes.

The Country Club of Virginia has a rich 113-year history of delivering on their commitment to excellence. The club ranked number 3 in the Top Workplaces (large company) category, with a staff of more than 500. “Our motto can be seen in everything we do: ‘An evolution to excellence through continuous improvement,’” according to the club’s nomination to the Top Workplaces. Richmond Times-Dispatch.

Oracle and Pew Research Center collected data to better understand consumer tech habits and personality changes throughout the pandemic. One of the biggest reported changes is the online ordering boom, which includes food from restaurants and grocery stores. A recent report from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics measured the metro areas with the most golf courses per capita, per 100,000 people and ranked Naples, Fla., first with 17.9 per 100,000 people. Golf Cart Accident Settles Against Driver, Not Cart Owner

The 2017 golf cart accident at Glenwood Golf Course was settled by the Iowa Supreme Court concluding that the father’s legal theory against the club was not viable. After settling claims against his son (the driver), Jeff Jones, also pursued a lawsuit against the club as the golf cart owner. Under Iowa law, “for the damages caused by [the son’s] negligent driving, the driver and owner are considered one party.” NGCOA.
