Alexandria, VA (October 3, 2022)—The National Club Association (NCA) today announced the appointment of Phil Mike as Communications Director. In his new position, Mike will oversee the production of NCA’s publications Club Director, Club Trends and Club Business, as well as other published resources providing guidance and management advice to member clubs. He will also manage the organization’s electronic communications. Mike joined NCA in 2014 and most recently served the organization as Communications Manager & Managing Editor.

Mike has shaped communications strategies at Washington, D.C.-area organizations for over a decade. He joined NCA in 2014 and has taken lead roles in the organization’s logo and brand identity refresh in 2016, COVID-19 response strategy and other major communications initiatives. He is also an emerging voice in the industry through regular webcast presentations and articles on club industry trends.
Mike’s previous experience includes work at political nonprofits, including the American Enterprise Institute and Progressives for Immigration Reform. Mike graduated from James Madison University in 2011 with a bachelor’s degree in corporate communication.
