Club Updates – May 25
The country’s seven-day average of daily new COVID-19 cases has surged above 100,000—more than three times the rate this time last year—according to CNBC analysis of CDC data. Fortunately, hospitalizations have remained relatively low. The spike is due to four highly infectious omicron subvariants circulating throughout the country. Experts believe infection rates could increase in the upcoming weeks before they potentially decrease in July and August.
