Alexandria, VA (March 18, 2022)—The National Club Association (NCA), the association representing America’s private club industry, has relocated its headquarters to Alexandria, Va. The move across the Potomac River to Alexandria will provide a better work-life balance for NCA staff while positioning the organization to continue its important advocacy work with legislative and regulatory leaders in Washington, D.C.
“Work-life balance is essential and this move will help NCA staff achieve that balance in their day-to-day lives,” said Henry Wallmeyer, president and CEO of the National Club Association. “When the pandemic first hit, our employees began to work from home, both for their personal safety and so they could better balance family responsibilities with work. The response was extraordinary, with the team more motivated than ever to serve our members and the private club community, and we’ve embraced work-from-home.”
The new office was built for collaboration whether staff chooses to work there or in their home offices. Its amenities, layout and built-in technology make communication easy, collaboration effortless and access to NCA resources seamless regardless of location.
“With this move, staff can spend more time serving our members than in traffic, more time with their families and less time and money commuting,” continued Wallmeyer. “They can enjoy a healthier and less stressful life, while taking advantage of a high-tech office designed for productivity and face-to-face collaboration when optimal. It’s a win-win.”
NCA’s new Alexandria office is located at 1680 Duke Street, #420, Alexandria, VA 22314. Association staff can still be reached at 202-822-9822 or nationalclub.org.
