Summer is in full swing around the country—in private clubs, on Capitol Hill and at NCA!
 
NCA President & CEO Joe Trauger kicked off June with a visit to Farmington Country Club and General Manager/CEO Joe Krenn. June 14, he attended an event with Rep. Rick Allen (R-Ga.), keeping NCA's messaging at the forefront. And toward the end of the month, he participated in a retreat with members of the Mount Vernon Country Club Board of Directors at Kinlock Golf Club, Manakin-Sabot, Va.
 
The "Big Beautiful Bill" tax measure that passed on Capitol Hill after much debate was front and center at NCA, which issued a one-page resource to members on how its provisions, especially no-tax-on-tips and overtime, might affect private clubs. NCA also alerted members when the bill passed both the Senate and House

NCA announced its upcoming move in a release June 3. The association will move just down the road to the CMAA headquarters building; while the associations will continue to operate independently, their closer proximity will help grow their collaborative relationship for the benefit of the industry.

NCA members received Washington Weekly Update, including regulatory and legislative news, June 6June 9June 16June 23 and June 30.

The spring edition of Club Director proved popular with members and featured a host of features and departments:

A new issue of Club Trends hit mailboxes in June; members enjoyed a look at the industry's outlook from here going forward, including an analysis of the political landscape and what effects it might have. The issue also included a deep dive into member behavior, offering insight from several private club experts on how clubs can encourage good behavior—and react appropriately when it's not so good.
