Dear NCA Members,
First and foremost, I hope you and your families are staying safe and healthy as we all cope with this horrible coronavirus pandemic. I hope you are taking advantage of the tremendously insightful and timely information that the National Club Association is providing the industry through its Coronavirus Resource Center and Town Hall Webinar Series.
During these unprecedented times for the country and the private club industry, the National Club Association’s Board of Directors has been considering and exploring all options in relation to COVID-19’s impact on our 2020 National Club Conference scheduled for May 17-19 at Ocean Reef Club in Key Largo, Fla.
After thoughtful and deliberate discussions, your board of directors has unanimously agreed that it is in the best interest of the private club community and the association to cancel the 2020 National Club Conference. We appreciate the gracious consideration given to us by Ocean Reef Club to help us reach this decision.
For those that have already registered, you will be contacted directly by NCA staff about how to proceed.
For the companies who have so generously committed to sponsor the Conference, NCA staff will reach out to you directly to discuss potential options to help you and your company get in front of clubs in the absence of a Conference to support you for your support of NCA.
We appreciate your patience and understanding during this unpredictable time as we engage in a course of action that is the most advantageous for private clubs and the association.
Be on the lookout for more communications from NCA regarding the National Club Conference and please feel free to reach out to me, the NCA board or NCA staff if you have any questions or if we can provide additional information.
Stay safe and be well.
Sincerely,
Terra Waldron
Chair, National Club Association
