The organizations are set to collaborate on events and industry resources in 2020 and beyond
Washington, D.C., (February 4, 2020) — The National Club Association (NCA) and Hospitality Financial and Technology Professionals (HFTP®) are joining forces this year to contribute each association’s specialty resources to their memberships and club industry at large. The two organizations will participate in each other’s 2020 educational events and collaborate on a club cybersecurity guide.
“By strengthening our collaboration, the private club industry will greatly benefit from new, cutting-edge resources,” said NCA President & CEO Henry Wallmeyer. “We are excited to join forces with HFTP to address serious issues like cybersecurity that concern our respective members.”
The two organizations are member-based nonprofits that draw from their volunteers’ extensive knowledge bases to develop and present educational opportunities, best practices and other resources.
“Both HFTP and NCA have worked in parallel to keep their members informed on industry trends and professional best practices,” said HFTP CEO Frank Wolfe, CAE, FIH. “Our associations work to contribute to the vibrancy of the club industry, but diverge in our areas of focus. By coming together, we can provide a broader spectrum of resources as well as reach a greater portion of professionals.”
The partnership establishes a corresponding presence within each organization’s events. This includes the upcoming HFTP Club Summit on March 23-24 in Atlanta, Ga., USA and the NCA National Club Conference on May 17-19 in Key Largo, Fla., USA.
In addition, the organizations are collaborating on a comprehensive guide to cybersecurity that is specific to the club environment. The guide is due to be available in late spring 2020.
