Washington, D.C. (April 30, 2018) – The National Club Association (NCA) recently held its annual meeting in Los Angeles in conjunction with its National Club Conference where it elected new officers to govern the Association. The mission of NCA, a Washington, D.C.-based trade association, is to protect, defend and advance the interests and well-being of private, social and recreational clubs.
The new officers of the National Club Association include NCA Chair Frank J. Vain, President of McMahon Group, in St. Louis, and Terra S. H. Waldron, CCM, CCE, ECM, joining Greensboro Country Club in Greensboro, N.C., as the Chief Operating Officer in June, serving as Vice Chair. Christine Pooler, CCM, ECM, Director of Club Operations, Augusta National Golf Club in Augusta, Ga., was elected as Secretary and Malcolm MacColl, President of the Board of Governors, The Westmoor Club on Nantucket, Mass., was re-elected Treasurer. The Immediate Past Chair is Kevin P. Vitale, General Manager and COO of Baltusrol Golf Club in Springfield, N.J.
Directors re-elected to the NCA board for three-year terms are Ted M. Benn, Partner at Thompson & Knight LLP in Dallas; Michael Bruni, Board of Directors, Olympia Fields Country Club, Olympia Fields, Ill.; Thomas A. Lenz, Partner Atkinson, Andelson, Loya, Ruud & Romo, in Pasadena, Calif.; and Michelle F. Tanzer, Chair, Residential, Resort & Club, GrayRobinson, in Boca Raton, Fla.
