NCA Monthly: August 2025

The National Club Association has been on the move this month! Staff (pictured above) moved into new offices at the end of August, joining our industry colleagues at CMAA in their building. The new location (1733 King St,, Suite 300, Alexandria, VA 22314) offers many benefits, including the opportunity to more directly collaborate with CMAA for the benefit of the entire club community.

CMAA President & CEO Jeff Morgan met NCA President & CEO Joe Trauger and the whole NCA team at the door and offered a tour of the building and NCA's new suite, introducing staff along the way and building excitement for the new-to-us space. Many smiles and friendly handshakes made for a terrific introduction and great moving day. And now, it's on with the fall and a lot of great things for NCA members!
Only a few weeks remain until NCA Club Leaders, the first conference of its kind, Oct. 27, 2025 at Addison Reserve Country Club. Designed as a shared educational experience for private club executives and their Board members, NCA Club Leaders attendees will explore best practices, ask questions, share experiences and expand their industry contacts to improve their club governance together—no matter their starting point. An afternoon on the spectacular, newly renovated courses of Addison Reserve follows a morning of education and the networking happens all day. Space is limited and filling; get more information and register yourself and your Board members for this amazing day.

NCA is busy at work on several important initiatives, including a Board Policies Manual, the 2026 budget and the 2026 National Club Conference (April 19-21 at the esteemed Ocean Reef Club, Key Largo, Fla.). Watch your email for all the details!

Club Director, NCA's flagship periodical, was one of 25 association and business magazines to receive a Tabbie award for feature stories. Tabbies are awarded by Trade, Association, and Business Publications International; Club Director won for "Funding for Life," our story on private clubs' family and employee scholarship programs.
