The American Rescue Plan (ARP) was signed into law on March 11, 2021, containing a provision that establishes a new program for restaurants impacted by the coronavirus called the Restaurant Revitalization Fund. The National Club Association (NCA) coordinated a letter from city clubs to the House and Senate Small Business Committees urging clarification on 501(c)(7) inclusion in the program. While 501(c)(7) organizations were not specifically included or excluded in the new revitalization fund, NCA is seeking clarification from the House and Senate Small Business Committees on the matter from the Small Business Administration.
The letter was sent to Congress on April 5, 2021 with signatures from 22 clubs.
