Robyn Nordin Stowell is a partner at Spencer Fane LLP. Robyn represents nonprofit organizations, private clubs, developers, borrowers, lenders and member groups in a wide variety of transactions, including the purchase, sale and financing of golf and resort assets, real estate and operating businesses. She assists clients with a range of legal issues, including corporate governance, financing transactions, cyber security issues, contracts and other operational issues.She provides advice to clubs during challenging economic times; provides counsel for equity club conversions and golf club membership programs; negotiates within the established relationships of golf clubs, social clubs and homeowner associations; revises club governance documents and membership documents to comply with law and incorporate best practices; and obtain and manage 501(c)(7) status.
